Governor Dankwambo of Gombe State reached out to Nigerian pop star, Davido on Twitter asking for his corporation in mobilising youths to get their PVCs ahead of the forthcoming 2019 elections.
Dankwambo wrote:
‘Hello @iam_Davido. My name is Ibrahim Dankwambo, Governor of Gombe state. I’m a huge fan of your amazing work and talent. I’d be glad if you can use your massive influence to work together with me in convincing our young people to go get their #PVC. Do I have your assurance?’.
Davido said:
‘Anything to serve my Country and my People Sir’.

It could be recalled that on Tuesday, May 15, Nollywood once again mourned the death of one of its talented members, Aisha Abimbola popularly known as Omoge Campus  The funeral of Nollywood actress took place in Canada yesterday,  Thursday, May 17th . The 46-year old pretty actress died of breast cancer on  May 15th  in Canada where she was undergoing treatment. Her family members and friends were at the burial ceremony.
